Quran is very valuable for Muslims. Iranian people use Quran as a guardian for themselves. From many years age when people wanted to go on a trip, they passed under a Quran.
Many cities of Iran have Quran gate but the one in Shiraz is very known and actually the structure of the gate is special too. If you plan to spend days in the city of Shiraz, the first thing to see is the “Quran City Gate.”
This gate was built as a decorative gate in the north of Shiraz City a thousand years ago. Karim Khan had placed a Qur’an in a small room on the top of the city gate for blessing. Under the influence of this Qur’an, this city gate will bless the people to return to Pasargad safely to witness the rise and fall of the ancient Persian Empire 2,500 years ago.
