Introduction

Feel the old and rustic village of Abyaneh

This is a beautiful and historic village. At the foot of  Karkas, 70 km southeast of Kashan, 40 km from Natanz. The village is unique in both traditional life and architectural forms (all with red clay) It may be the most interesting example of human adaptation to nature, where people can transcend time and space to experience the ancient civilizations and cultures of Iran. The village is densely populated, with narrow and trapezoidal alleys built on the slopes. The houses are located on the hillsides, as if they were placed on a ladder. Here, the roof of some houses serves as the courtyard of the upper floor. The language of the cultural people of Abyaneh is the Pahlavi language of the Parthian dynasty, and they are proud to follow traditional customs. No matter how high the education of the Abyanees, once he or she returns to the village from anywhere in Iran, he will wear the traditional costume of Abyaneh. The traditional costumes of women are printed with floral patterns. Scarves and pleated bloomers are particularly eye-catching. The women of Abyaneh attach great importance to the wedding dresses they have inherited from their mothers, and they are still inseparable and ready to pass on to their daughters. This dress is very intrinsic to her, no matter how much it costs. There are many old houses, including the house of King Gurum Nadir. The house of Naibu Hussein Kosh.

 Where to go

There are eight mosques in the village. The Haj Ghasem Mosque was built on the edge of a rock. The inscription on the top of the gate indicates that this is the middle of the Safavid dynasty. There is a beautiful temple in the mosque for night use. There is a wooden pillar in the temple. Jame Mosque is located in the oldest part of the Yili Khan era village.

Very spacious night worship hall. The ornaments used here are very similar to the ornaments in the tomb of Bastam. The history of the Mai Mosque in Abyaneh dates back to the 12th century. There are many inscriptions and a pulpit in this mosque. Interestingly, many parts of this pulpit are very similar to the architectural factors and column-end decorations seen in Persepolis.
