Fars province has a long history of producing handmade carpets and has always been known in the world as Fars province carpets. Also Fars handmade carpet and rug exhibition has the highest ranking in the country.
The exhibition showcases all types of handmade carpets, Gelims, jimmies, gabbe and panel carpets.
15th period of Fars handmade carpet and rug exhibition
In the previous period, the exhibition was held in a space of more than 4,000 square meters with the installation of 80 booths from different provinces. More than 7,000 handmade carpet weavers in Fars province produce and market over 340,000 square meters of hand-woven fabrics and presented to the Bazar.
