The beautiful plain of Arjan, which is located in the Arjan and Parishan protected area, is one of the most beautiful resorts in Shiraz, which is located 60 km from Shiraz and 20 km from Kazerun. This plain, which is also known as Arjan plain or millet plain, is a part of Shiraz city, but it is also known as Kazerun among the local people because it was a part of Kazerun city until a few years ago. Arjan plain is located next to the heights of Zagros, which is known as Fars Zagros and is one of the heights of South Zagros.

This plain is one of the plains that can grow pine.and in this respect is also one of the favorite areas of geologists. In addition to oak, mulberry, hawthorn and almond trees, in autumn and winter, part of this vast plain becomes an irreplaceable narcissus, which arouses the admiration of every viewer. Until a few decades ago, Arjan plain was the habitat of Iranian lions and deer, but unfortunately, in the meantime, Iranian lions have become completely extinct. In recent years, a yellow deer collar has been released in the area to reproduce and save it from extinction.
Arjan Waterfall
Arjan Falls, known locally as Chroniz, flows down from the cliffs of the area and is surrounded by the soothing sound of running water. In winter, the waterfall has a spectacular view and at sub-zero temperatures in this area, the mountain is decorated with crystal strips of ice.
Lake Arjan
In Arjan plain, in addition to Cheroniz waterfall, blue color is still found and the presence of Arjan lake and its lagoon is another sign of the presence of water in this area. This freshwater lake, with an area of about two thousand hectares, is very important and finds a unique beauty with the flight of migratory birds over it. The wetland of this region with its tall reeds has beautified Lake Arjan and in addition to the water flow of the Dalaki River, it is revived and filled with water due to the rains.
